These controversies stem from religious beliefs, not universally held, that establish life at conception. Opposing are scientists and others who point to how stem cells, DNA, and Genomics may one day find cures for many diseases such as Cancer, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and others. Stem cells can come from abortions and cord blood when a baby is born.
